It just occurred to me that the name Moloch seems to be reflected in the word 'immolation' (i.e. to burn), which comes from the Latin 'immolatio' (a sacrifice or offering). The etymology of that word posits that it comes from the Latin root 'mola' (meal), but I find that unlikely, as burnt...- tupacamaru29
