HB-748, AKA the CARES Act, was brought before the House of Representatives on January 24, 2019 by a bipartisan group of representatives from PA, NJ, WA, NY and NV:

It was passed by the House way back in May of 2019, and sat dormant until March of 2020 when it was passed by the Senate in response to the "pandemic" that was so accurately predicted over a year earlier.

In Oregon, curiously around the same time - February 2019 - HB 3063, which would "(Remove) ability of parent to decline required immunizations against restrictable diseases on behalf of child for reason other than child's indicated medical diagnosis," passed through the state's HR with a predominantly Democratic vote.

It is currently resting in Oregon's Senate ledger, perhaps waiting for an opportune time just as with the CARES Act.

Oregon, despite being a predominantly blue state, is one of only a handful of states that still allow for religious and philosophical exemptions to vaccines - and we are in danger of losing this valuable freedom...!

I wouldn't be surprised if similar bills are lurking in the shadows of other states. Although I'm am starting to doubt the effectiveness of fighting these tyrants with paper and petitions; people need to start becoming more aware of what is going on and put their collective foot down.
