Hi everyone,
I happen to read this article about Disney Research division (looks like a mad scientists' dream) which recently unveiled their Wireless Power demonstration, through what they call quasistatic cavity resonance, which is just a fancy term for what Nikola Tesla and subsequent mavericks have uncovered over a century ago for wirelessly powering electrical appliances, even whole cities.
What's particularly attractive about this Disney research is the ability to transmit over 1900watts of power safely through the room from a central vertical pipe, effectively able to power every electrical appliances in the vicinity outfitted with a receiver coil.
Knowing Disney's connection with shadowy activities, it makes one wonder what this division is working on, from psycotronics, holograms to other cutting-edge Tesla-like technologies.
