Forum Upgrade Progress Report

Hello to any and all,

Since the link to the forum's front page shows up as some part of the text with no thread links whatsoever, and has been this way for a while, I hope this can be a place we can be told what's up and how the upgrade is going.

There is the possibility that it's just my particular OS and Browser, so maybe others can say if anything is working in their OS and browser configurations.

Thanks. I hope someone will shine some light on what's going on.

I just came looking for the same info. I can access the individual forums by using the drop down menu but if I just go to the forum page it is a bunch of condensed text with no links. I think it's something in the site because I just got a new (used) computer and it was working fine and then one day it was like this. Also I am running windows but the same issue persists when I access from my partners Mac.

Well, since I'm running Linux, I guess it's unanimous. That front page has got some code issues.

I discovered the same thing with the drop down menu.

This was the first email notification I have had in eight days on any thread, so I guess I learned that that is still working.

With the new forum, do we necessarily lose our user name capitalization? I can find no way to change my user name. It used to be capitalized and I would prefer that.

I don't see even block quoting and bold or italics here anymore. What's with that? No tool bar at all.
