Quite likely. It is likely that 9/11 was largely about covering the robbery of Russia during the 90s. London has had plenty of Russian oligarchs move in after they were done with their crimes.

That makes sense. I was watching this documentary about people in posh London neighborhoods where the homeowners where creating elaborate underground basements with olympic pools, or bachelor pads, ect. and that some of the people getting the renovations were Russian.

It's not like Russia is the only country that is being robbed. It's just that during the 90s there was so much capital they could extract that it became a big deal. African countries, the US, Eastern Europe, China all have their criminal classes robbing the place blind and moving to financial centres like London, NYC etc.

totally agree, opportunists strike where there is an opening and cluster and cloister in centers of money and power.
