Space command is a part of the Air Force currently, but each branch has it's own space service. I first found out about it when looking at army surplus gear and finding some of the below patches for sale. What Trump is proposing would be it's own branch of the military on equal bureaucratic footing with the Air Force, Marines, Army, and Navy.
With regard to the questions "why do they do it?" or "why do these people act they are so enlightened while they are clearly a bunch of assholes keeping us down?" and "who do they worship?"
I believe it boils down to polarity of emotion and the source of all life above the etheric level. At the level the beings they worship exist at there is still separation and polarity and the all-unifying love energy can be inverted into the all-consuming fear energy (love of self). The being's whose polarity is primarily negative cannot self-generate as those whose polarity is primarily positive and must exist off the pain and suffering of other beings to avoid oblivion of self and re-integration of their constituent elements after dissolution. It would stand to reason that their followers would strive to become like those they worship as they carry out their bidding on our plane of existence.
