I would love to hear someone going into Astrological Magic, or as they,( the Astrological Magicians) put it, he Proper Timing of Magic.
Christopher Warnock would be the first name that jumps off the page, but you could go the other way and get Jason Miller back, as a Sorcerer that uses a lot of astrology to do his Planetary Magic.
I'm sure there are others, but this is an area I love to hear fleshed out, especially from the Hermetic context of The Three Fold Path: Astrology, Alchemy and Magic.
If we are to take Alchemy as mostly internal, like getting you vehicle up to spec so this stuff can move through you with a greater intensity, then that leaves Astrology in one hand, as the correct time to be doing things in, and Magic in the other, as the thing that you should be doing at that time.
