The irony of the situation never ceases to surprise me. This time, US declares Iran’s national army as a Terrorist organization, prompting the latter to do the same.

The recent rise in oil prices should not be surprising given Venezuela's supply has been severely limited by credit sanctions, and Saudi Arabia keeping the taps wide open to starve Venezuela before the sanctions. But the effects of such policies on the local population is criminal.
