The recent discussion of Flat Earth vs. Globe Earth model brought with it the issue of gravity. Some claim that the idea of gravity had been invented, probably by freemasons.
The general consensus seems to be that the idea of gravity is used to fool people. However, there is a more rational explanation for the introduction of gravity.
Why Material Gravity?
Gravity leads to the center of a thing, it leads down to the center. Following a path downwards, to the interior of the earth, is not only the main motif of the book Journey to the Center of the Earth by Jules Verne, but also an aspect of the myth of Theseus and the Minotaur.
Theseus, upon entering the Labyrinth to slay the Minotaur, has to go down, not looking left or right. This indicates a state of the extreme solitude, necessary for the task at hand. The same solitude is referred to in alchemical texts as finding one’s center of gravity. In other words: descending to ones source. This form of gravity is a spiritual, not material.
