There are many examples of thriving African American communities being destroyed through outright violence after the end of slavery, then came the redline laws that restricted African Americans to the ghetto, now that those ghettos are closer to work they are being taxed out of their homes due to gentrification. I get their beef, it is well-founded. I don't agree with the tactics or demands in this case. Changing tax law to prevent this economic pressure is better in my opinion. Oh, and fuck you, ya bigot.
