Well, my husband was thrust into self employment a few years ago and I don't mind tooting his horn because he is brilliant. Yes, I'm partial but he is really brilliant and I'm so proud of him. He designs and builds portable power armored batteries, some innovative ham radio gear, the LongShot, which powers GoPro Hero 3 and 4 cameras. To say that he builds his gear tough is and understatement. If mainstream companies made his gear, they would be charging significantly more.
