There must be oodles of people out there in obscurity researching and blogging their findings. But what good does it do? A way has to be found to bring the people together and use the information towards actively finding solutions.

Perhaps. But do you realize how systems are built? They must start with an idea and that idea must spread to enough people to find the few who know how to build good systems. That idea has to find its John Conner. Right now, we're in the Sarah Conner phase. Trying to get her laid so she can create our John Conner. The game of building systems begins with the game of spreading ideas. Having unprotected intercourse with random strangers met it bars about Kennedy or Magic or Bigfoot- whichever one you do best. -at least, that's the game of guys like me.
Guys like me, down here in the grass, every now and then get to watch the Information Warfare Specialists do their chaining thing. One of 'em (who will actually tunnel-rat through some website maze to find the gems) will sound off. Then, some swinging dick like Nick (who my money's already on, babe) will say some shit like "Schoberg has to see this." And BOOM fires the first birthing synapses of the "system mind."
We have too few firing synapses to watch unfold like that. Not oodles. Not much of a system yet, I grant you. But don't give up on John Conner just because Sarah ain't even been laid yet. Sarah (the idea) must be protected and gotten laid. Many times. Our greatest potential strength is numbers- we must rally these. Venereal Viral Enlightenment. More minds firing individual synapses that then communicate to larger group minds that fire synapses throughout themselves. Like you and Nick do. It's cool to watch.
You are the system that is being built. And I am truly sorry that it feels like you're out there at midnight, alone with a pup tent and three matches. Don't feel like much of a "system" we got goin' here. Don't feel like there's much of an army behind you. And there ain't. Not in this world. What we have, you are building. Pioneer style.
I think you are right that we need to actively bring people together for solutions. How would you build one of those? Which solutions would you be after?
