forces outside of our visible world (or our five senses) that interact and influence us. It's something that I'm starting to dip my toes into and it's sinking in
It's a learnning curve but there is a common thread amongst all ancient teachings, mystery schools, folk religions like animisim that there are other non physical energies that occupy the same space as we do. Even in the bible it says our fight is against powers and principlaities - but they left brian teach us that its aout worldy goverments - nope its the non organic archons.
If yuo have a christian upbringing try learing about gnsoticism - such as aeonbyte podcast - read the highlights form the secret book of john, and of the origins of the world - it specifically talks about the archons creating the current world of ours and how they fucked up making adam so had to give him a living soul.

the left brain chatter is them tellling you not to learn anything that might shine light on them - its a strong urge. Out of mind out of sight!!

nearly all mystery schools teach about being the observer and not the owner of thoughts.

I'd recomend you follow your path of what peaks your interest amongst all the fringe topics - go down the branch road discover whats down there but return to the main route of finding youe true Self in the jungian sense - actual thats a good book - Carl Jung - memories dreams and refelctions. the path of individaution as Jung puts it as also the same as the heros journey, or the chistian finding the kigdom within.

I had a direct personal experience with the mystery - supernatural events that my left brain told me to ignore but they just kept coming so i stopped the majority of radio and TV and listened to a wide variety of podcasts and delved a little deeper into those that resonated with me to find out some answers.

you have to unlearn the schooling you had to be able to learn the new stuff - and make your own judgements using what is likely to be true on the balance of probablities.
for example I was exposed to Electric universe stuff on podcasts quite a few times over a few years but I just couldn't hear what i was listening to, it took a couple of years of gettign other stuff under my belt before the penny dropped and i could start to find it interesting.

theres also some dead ends that some get lost down (flat earth - planet x, mud flood, moon landing, etc etc) that can capture you in a everdecreasing circle. yeah find out about them but dont get lost like some have.

a short cut to an experience of the mystery can be magic mushroms, the first time can be just great fun then do some more a month later for mind expansion that will demand more answers.

have fun on your journey.

Lol I stil obviously haven't figured out why spell check isn't working in my Firefox desktop. My lightening fast fingers betray me sometimes hahaha

This is a concept that is very new to me. The idea that there are forces outside of our visible world (or our five senses) that interact and influence us. It's something that I'm starting to dip my toes into and it's sinking in but I still have that hyper rational left brain chatter that tends to dismiss or explain away these phenomena. Is there any recommended reading to deepen my knowledge on this or any exercises you'd recommend to ''tune in'' or begin to perceive these things, aside from standard meditation?

Good on you for opening your mind to new ways of perceiving the world. I would suggest perhaps Susan Rennison to start with. She is a physicist AND a metaphysician. SHe has a very no nonsense approach to describing reality through electromagnetism. It ties science and spiritualilty together in a very accessible, if sometimes dense, way.

To start 'feeling' stuff, you could experiment with qi gong, which even if you can't feel the flow initially, is an excellent practice.

Finally, I would consider doing some research on ether. Once you can accept that the ether is real, a lot of things fall into place without having to come up with complicated explanations. Check out Aaron Murukami's work. He's very left brained in his work in free energy devices, but also applies this knowledge to spirituality and synchronicity etc.

I'll second Qi Gong I have tried it and i do feel a energy flow - i should do more.
some one als recommended https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCBtGM4p9zYXzu0bIlfvUJ9A if you dont like their presentations theres loads to discover
I have been doing the 24 moves of Thi Chi nearly every morning for the last 2 years. Your left brain will resist, tired, whats the point, or as mine did it will actively disrupt the practice. wondering mind or lack of focus on the here and now and even my breathing was against me - mine went to the fight or flight type short in the chest which pumps the cortisol into the brain. it was a struggle and i was not getting the full benefit.
When I've done Thi Chi while stoned (just a little) I intuit (hear the inner voice) "the dance of the gods" it is a physical ritual done over 1000s of years it is designed to balance the left and right hemispheres of the brain like a moving meditation.

People I have read, followed, listened to are
Neil Kramer
Anthony Peake
Carl Jung -
Gary lachman - does great synopsis books on the significant teachers
Jasun Horsley
Kirby Surprise - the technical break down of synchronicity
Gordon white
Micheal Tsarion

Topics inc
Gnosticism
Theosophy
Electric universe
Prediluvian history - Andrew collins, graham hancock -
Hero's journey - joseph campbell
Tarot
Modern magic - gordon white etc.

Chrome has spell check!!

Check out the book thread there's numerous links to free downloads

Wow, thank you. Lots there to look into. I was raised Catholic and went through the whole obnoxious atheist phase in college. It's been interesting and enjoyable to reconnect with something that I had grown up with and had an intuitive connection to before it was ridiculed out of me. I'll look into Gnosticism. I also keep hearing about Archons these past few weeks so it seems like the time to investigate them properly.

I've had good experiences with Tai Chi and Qi Gong. Definitely have a good sense of cultivating that energy within me. I also do a lot of breath work. It has made me much more sensitive to the energy within a room or between people. I imagine that my ability to perceive things beyond this will come in time. It's helpful to be encouraged to continue in that direction and to trust in the process. Thanks for all of your advice.

I'll look into her. It definitely helps me to see the thought process of someone that comes from a scientific background.

Again, almost synchronistically, I've been drawn to the concept of Ether. I couldn't explain what Ether is yet but I've had this deep sense that I need to investigate it. I've started with Shamangineer's first THC appearance where he discusses it and I plan to work through all of that content systematically. I'll include Aaron Murukami in that.

Watched/listened to this interview with Gabor Mate yesterday, and boy, what an insightful discussion about trauma, and its cascading effects unto the world. Love the parts about traumatized world leaders in power, as well as recognizing the impulses of our own traumas, and how it affects everyday things, including parenting.

Interesting video with a good section in the middle about individual traumas and a new breathing technique. lots of other good interviews on his channel as well.

How can we even begin to solve many of society's problems if our conversations keep breaking down? Polarisation has been growing for decades, and supercharged by social media filter bubbles.

This is the first in a series of films from Rebel Wisdom looking at the science and psychology of polarisation.

We speak to Alex Evans, a former government adviser now looking at the roots of division through the Collective Psychology Project: https://www.collectivepsychology.org/

Also to superstar trauma specialists Dr Stephen Porges, Peter Levine, Gina Ross and Steve Haines about how our nervous system is intimately involved in assessing safety and threat, and how that underlies all conflict and polarisation. How do you recalibrate your nervous system - especially if it has felt danger or threats over a long period of time, there's a new breathing technique!

We will be releasing one of these films each Thursday in August.

Hey Folks,

Wanted to share with you this video interview from Matthew Belair, he has a great podcast/Youtube channel on Mind, Body, Spirit topics.
This one, he's got Paul O'Brien, a former entrepreneur, and now author of a book soon-to-be-released called Intuitive Intelligence: Make Life-changing decisions with perfect timing.
While the name may seem a bit cheesy, I gave the interview a try, and found the guy to be (very) interesting. He has quite an eccentric path that led him to eventually become a self-taught developer in the 90's, where he came up with an astrology software that ended up selling for millions. He's also created a I-Ching book and app (Visionary I-Ching App).

It's the latest that got my attention. Though I've never studied the I-Ching, it fascinates me on an intuitive level, as being a codice to chart probabilities. Sort of like Tarot or Astrology (all fields which I don't expertise at all).

However, I do resonate with the importance of cultivating inner/heart/intuitive intelligence as an essential component of self-knowing and growth. These things are often hard to describe in words, but you "know" it (and sometimes the mind-chatter in your head "disapproves" or ignores it).
Another thing I resonated with, is that the toughest chapters of our lives often end up being blessings in disguise. I find this to always be the case, no matter how horrific a situation can turn out to be. A reminder that there is purpose to suffering, and a "reward" at the end of the tunnel.

Personally, I have become better over the years at recognising my intuition vs ego-based thinking, even though it's a tough task.

Case in point, I recently had to purchase a bicycle for my commute. Although I had already gotten a cheap, grandma bike, I MK'd myself to get a better one, and so when the bait was presented to me, I acted on an impulse to go buy it (second-hand thru Facebook). Upon seeing the bike, I was a bit unsure if this was going to be worth it (intuition), but then again, I needed something "better". even though it ended up costing me double-the-price of my previous one.

Sure enough, as soon as I had bought it and rode it, I was disappointed. Disappointment turned quickly to frustration, frustration led to anxiety, and anxiety sucks. The next day, I managed to sell the bike minus a 10euro discount, which I was more than happy to cover the costs for my own mistakes. (to be fair, the bike was good, just not worth it over my previous one)

But it was a powerful lesson that, had I trusted my gut intuition (which was "I'm not impressed") and passed the offer, I would've walked away content. Instead, I acted on greed and my ego-based impulse. In doing so, I had overridden all cardinal rules of buying second-hand stuffs, like "sleep on it for a night before making a decision". Anyways, this sounds like a stupid example, but it sort of illustrates the case when ego-mind overrides heart-intuition (at least, the stakes weren't that high here).

There's one line in the interview that stood out, which I deeply resonated with:
(49:40) "The stronger the feeling, the less trustworthy it is as a basis to decision-making."
I find this crucial, not only in decision-making, but in listening, especially when conflicts arise, and the impulses to defend my point often come from an emotional-level (usually out of fear).
Big wisdom in remaining calm, and silent quiet in the face of adversity.

This may sound counter-intuitive to the rational, logical brain. And yet it's been proven right in almost every instance in my personal experience.
If anything, Intuition is the generator of the pieces of the puzzle. Then, (and only then) logic is used to put the pieces into a coherent mosaic. (but not the other way around, which is how we're usually taught in modern culture). Otherwise the latter results in clever, but wisdom-lacking thinking, in my opinion.

The inception of an intuitive thought, or concept, is akin to a very gentle breeze, almost too faint to be perceived. And yet those are the ones that often ended up, if nurtured well, becoming the catalyst to life-changing events.

In fact, if I look back in my life, all the big decisions, like moving abroad, which program to study, or even choosing my friends, and partner, or finding work, have often started from a similar place where I couldn't quite pin-point the catalyst, and yet I somehow knew it was the right decision (at that time at least)
(*I'm sure other factors, including karma-points & spirit guides are involved as well, but perhaps that's also what intuition covers)

Equally explosive insight, which is the whole theme of Paul O'Brien's book and interview: Timing.
And he talks about what confirms the right timing of your intuition, are the synchronicities you uncover. BOOM. I'll let that one sink in.

So that's a powerful lesson right there. (And one that makes me feel this guy knows what he's talking about).

Anyways, that's it for now. Hope some of you can enjoy the insights contained in the interview. His book will be available soon. He also has a podcast, Pathways, celebrating its 33rd anniversary (hats off) where he interviews authors, inventors, and activists supporting creative development.

May Peace be upon You.

The content in this is intense and quite significant.

AION is one of the last books Jung wrote so it condenses and builds on most of his life works, remember the Red book was highly secret at this time so it tries to convey what he wrote about in the Red book into this more academic work

They have already covered Shadow, Anima and animus, unconscious in previous episodes but this one on "The Self" (not yourself) is deep, very deep.

I learnt a lot from this even though I've been plodding along the individuation path for a while, mines been covered in treacle, slow and sticky progress, with various barricades.

There's some great banter along the way, and their fresh and vibrant enthusiasm blows the dust off and makes the dense heavy topic of The SELF more accessible.

Wanted to share briefly some insights from the Kybalion texts. I had gotten acquainted with Hermetic philosophy previously, especially in books like The Law of One, but never as directly as in the Kybalion. The version I read was written by "The Three Initiates" which is either a code, or a group of people (or both).

The Seven Hermetic Principles:
I. The Principle of Mentalism
II. The Principle of Correspondence
III. The Principle of Vibration
IV. The Principle of Polarity
V. The Principle of Rythm
VI. The Principle of Cause and Effect (or as @rani previously pointed out, of CauseS and effectS)
VII. The Principle of Gender

To be frank with you, although I was already acquainted with most of the above concepts, this text had quite an impact on more than one occasion.
For example, As Above so Below (Correspondence) is probably the best example of one that I'd come to be familiar with, especially when observing Nature, and in the context of Holographic-Fractal nature of the Universe.

But something like Polarity (IV) taught me a profound lesson in the Art of Mental Transmutation, as it's called.
An example cited in the book (paraphrasing here so excuse me in advance), say Temperature.
When we're talking Cold and Hot, we're actually just talking of varying degrees of the one, and same thing. Same for Light and Darkness (or you could say, darkness is no light). Fear and Courage. Love and Hate.
So the Art of transmutation (or the polarity principle) is being able, through our Will, to reverse from one polarity to the other.

The one caveat, is that it works only (or I would say, works better) when it's of the same kind.
So while you can transmute Fear to Courage, you won't transmute Fear to Light (or my take is, it might not work as well, kind like comparing apples to oranges).

By the way, this insight also shed so much clarity on electric polarities to a layman like myself, who's always been perplexed by positive and negative (cathode). Very counter-intuitive, but in fact Kybalion goes more in-depth about this in the Gender principle (which is actually very Schauberg-ey with his concepts of gendered elements). The Gender principle was like a light-bulb burning my face, but I won't spoil it here just yet)

Personally, I'd been dealing with some anxiety issues at work lately, and in stillness, have come to identify my reactions as originating from fear. And since reading this, whenever Fear arises, I try to focus on courage instead (Courage is not lack of fear, but rather, an understanding and triumph of, and over fear, in spite of it).
It used to be I would try to focus on gratitude when in fear, and although it would work to some extent, I now find that thinking of courage instead really changes the vibrations (and now I see why, for fear and gratitude are of different kinds, gratitude would be more on the same polar-axis as selfishness, or jealousy?).

This is just one example of one principle that had a profound effect on myself recently. Like learning a new dance, or a martial arts move, practice makes it better I'm sure.
This is a powerful book, and I can only think that the fact it took me this long to actually read it, was precisely the time it was meant for me to read it.

May this reading help others in their journey as well.

PS: How cool also, to think, that this is very old wisdom, passed down through History to come down to my Kindle in pdf form. Just thinking about it makes me feel awe.:rolleyes:

"Everything is dual; everything has poles; everything has its pair of opposites; like and unlike are the same; opposites are identital in nature, but different in degree; extremes meet; all truths are but half-truths; all paradoxes may be reconciled"

"But this may said here, that those who have attained high spiritual powers and have misused them, have a terrible fate in store for them, and the swing of the pendulum of Rhythm will inevitably swing them back to the furthest extreme of Material existence, from which point they must retrace their steps Spiritward, along the weary rounds of The Path, but always with the added torture of having always with them a lingering memory of the heights from which they fell owing to the evil actions."

"There is no great; there is no small; in the mind that causeth all."

"The further the creation is from the Centre, the more it is bound; the nearer the Centre it reaches, the more nearer Free it is." (this reminds me of Walter Russell's notion of the Fulcrum)

Good post, Polo! I'm a Hermetic Principals groupie.

Know Thyself - Test Your Polarities:

"Women should never be in the army."

"Children should fail."

"I found the recipe you wanted. I've had it for years. Trump tweeted it during the campaign."

Hermetically Gendered

Been thinking more about Gender recently. "That which projects outwardly," and "That which receives, grows/blossoms, and gives back." You are constantly seeding her. It is her nature to take your energy and thought, sit on it and ruminate, and then return whatever blossoms from the seeds you've implanted.

It is the feminine's nature to be impacted by her environment more. To sense and observe things and be influenced by them more than the masculine. You are constantly energetically seeding her.

(Incidentally, this is why women should never be in the army. That which takes what you give it, enhances it, and gives it back to you is a treasure. It is what you are fighting for. It doesn't go on the front lines. It goes in the rear. In a vault. Or a tower.) :)

Had to share this incredible interview of Itzhak Bentov called From Atom to Cosmos. I haven't gone thru it all just yet, but suffice to say it's a joyful ride! I'm quite surprised by how coherent, and simple Bentov's description of the different levels of realities are; including of vibratory universe (or what I'd refer to as Resonance science today).

Currently going thru his book Stalking the wild pendulum, and it fits right in the THC portfolio, but it was 50-yrs ago, and with all the humility of a wise sage.

Love the part in the beginning when he talks/sketches about the evolution of intelligence in mankind over time on a bell curve, and says the most intelligent ones [in the context of our society] are likely to be found in mental hospitals, as they often interact on a different reality, and have hardships to fit in this society.
It reminded me of the Krishnamurti quote:
C9mxID_XUAE76HL.jpg

Great stuff, and his book offers one of the clearest, and simplest descriptions of vibratory physics, ESP, Source-Field for the layman. Highly recommended!

1*FVOdaQAQzAW9j_JhF-7c3g.png

This wave-form representation of consciousness by Bentov/Gateway Process suggests that beyond our normal cognition reality threshold (the middle part), in the higher and lower regions, at each peaks/valleys, we "click out" of this dimension (aka zero-point) to return to the Void/One, albeit at a very fast-pace.

I've heard a similar concept explained in terms of a film reel in motion, and the zero-points as the spaces in-between each sequence.
This is why, Bentov makes the allusion to an oscillating pendulum, stating in fact, that the whenever the pendulum reaches its rest motion, it actually pop-in-and-out-and-back-in physical reality, as briefly and imperceptible as one can imagine.:D

The implication being that one's focus can have deliberate access to this "Cosmic Realm", which is what the Gateway Process was created for (and most likely misused for nefarious deeds).
For whatever reason, it reminded me a voltage spike (Abstract, p.6) that happens when a current is disconnected (from the Bedini machines).. who knows:rolleyes:o_O

I've tuned out a bit from this sort of material lately, but it still fascinates me to read about it.
By the way, the link to the article above (here) is a transcript of the FOIA declass'd file by the Agency, and boy, for those who haven't checked it out yet, it is a mind-blower. I'm aware Greg refers to it quite frequently, but from the Cosmic Egg shape of the Universe, to Colour Breathing modalities, it is a deep esoteric dive into the magickal rabbit hole of what's known in the classified field.

Here's Bentov's last book, A Brief Tour of Higher Consciousness (2000)

Have not the special ones always had a hard time in society? Even the Shaman's had to live at the edge of the villages in times past. At least we had the decency then to treat them with due respect. We have narrowed down the field of 'acceptable knowledge' to such a narrow grey band that even those of us who are 'functional' in society are called crazy if we dare to dream in rainbow colours.

If you are feeling a bit low - please check out the charming Donna Eden's 5 minute energy practice. It encompasses EFT, chakras and Chinese Medicine goodness. It's quick to perform, and doesn't take long to learn. I am all about the portable skills at the moment. Enjoy!

This is so true, the more I can sit still and just be, the more I expand and grow. I've been having some crazy insights of late, and *ahem* I've been getting some direct instructions from my plant teachers.

And I agree women should not be in the army...Though neither should men! : )

I take Wilhelm Reich's position - wars should only be fought by politicians and generals in hand to hand combat. By the way Fifth Column, I think you would really enjoy 'listen little man' by Reich. It's right up your alley.

This is a damn near perfect example of the feminine taking a seed, enhancing it, and giving it back.

I've been getting some direct instructions from my plant teachers.

Man, if you felt like writing a post describing this interaction - I'd read it. It seems the shaman, when asked how they figured out the recipe for ayahuasca, state that the plants told them. I can't really fathom this yet. Not receptive enough.

Man, if you felt like writing a post describing this interaction - I'd read it. It seems the shaman, when asked how they figured out the recipe for ayahuasca, state that the plants told them. I can't really fathom this yet. Not receptive enough.

Not much to say really, it's extremely simple. You just have to be quiet and listen. Firstly, I don't consume nearly any media, no tv, no movies, no radio, just a few podcasts. I live in the middle of nowhere, so it's quiet. I cultivate mindfulness. This has helped me have a really good discernment between what I generate internally , and what is generated from outside of my own consciousness bubble. This applies to thoughts, feelings, dreamscapes.

I can give you one simple, concrete example. I was outside tending my plants and I was having some trouble with my sinuses feeling a bit congested. I was sitting next to a lemon verbena plant, and she 'said' to me - If you rub your hands on me and then rub them on your face, you will feel much better.

It was like having a thought, but it was definitely third person and not 'Maybe if I tried...' . It was a suggestion from another, and not an idea that I had generated internally. It was like the most gentlest of nudges, a genuine smile from a stranger, a new knowing.

It's the old Taoist thing, the work is in not working.

This latest episode from Rune Soup with Gordon White and Brandt Stickley talking about Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) was very insightful and full of eastern wisdom.
It really widens one's perspectives to hear him talk of TCM's philosophy and how it manifests itself in the concrete, including at different scales: human body, ecological and planetary flows.
Following this holo-fractal (as above so below) perspective, the flow of blood is most primordial.
My current underlying view is that Water is to the Earth, what Blood is to our body. Likewise, under TCM, symptoms reflect conditions of the blood flows (inhibited or extracted). Dryness of the skin causes rashness = dryness of soil more prone to fires.
Last but not least, the discuss the morphing of TCM, and the more recent bastardisation resulting from the political dyes of the CCP.

Great stuff! This is especially great because Gordon White owns a permaculture/regenerative farm in Tasmania, and so he brings this ecological perspective to the conversation as well.
The two books mentioned for a beginner's dive into TCM were:

Returning to the Source by Z'ev Rosenberg

Classical Chinese Medicine by Liu Lihong
Here's the intro of it by translators:
